Our support to families is only possible with your help
Last year, we supported over 2,000 families of sick and injured kids through Ronald McDonald House in Westmead and various in-house programs, our Hospitality Carts at Nepean and Campbelltown Hospitals, and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program. This is only possible, though, with the help of our generous community.

Six-year-old Oliver was watching TV when his mum Naomi noticed he was covering one eye. She took him to an optometrist, who had no available appointments.
The family left for a holiday the next day. From the car rearview mirror, Naomi saw that Ollie’s eye had turned slightly inwards.
After many hours in emergency and a visit to another optometrist, they were faced with the unimaginable: Ollie had Rhabdomyosarcoma, a highly aggressive and rare form of brain cancer.
Thankfully, the family were able to rely on the support of Ronald McDonald House in Westmead during this time, staying with us for 489 nights.
"Without Ronald McDonald House, I truly don’t know how we would have made life work. We would have been drowning in debt. The House has meant not having to worry about bills that need to be paid, the cost of accommodation, meals, or travel expenses. This House has kept my family together."
Nathan, Ollie's dad
