The heart and soul of our support for families

Our Volunteers

Volunteers are the Heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney’s services and support for families with sick and injured children.

Volunteers are needed to help run our Westmead House, working on our front desk, in our Learning Centre and kitchens, and helping to maintain gardens. They also operate our Hospitality Carts at Nepean and Campbelltown Hospitals. We are also planning new services over the coming years to meet an overwhelming demand for our support.

Our volunteers have provided practical and compassionate support to families with sick kids for more than forty years.

Just as volunteers make a difference in the lives of the families they meet, they also tell us often about the joy it brings to their own lives.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. With your help, we can support them throughout their journey.
