Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney

Critical support for families of sick and injured kids

Much more than accommodation

Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney provides essential services and holistic support to thousands of families with sick and injured kids every year.

A child’s illness can devastate a family financially, psychologically and emotionally. So, it’s our ongoing mission to deliver essential services and holistic support proven to benefit overall wellbeing.

As well as our critical home-away-from-home in Westmead, we offer a Day Pass Program for patient families of The Children’s Hospital Westmead, Hospitality Carts in the NICU at Nepean Hospital and Children’s Ward at Campbelltown Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program and more.

Peace of mind

The support Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney gave Harlow’s family allowed them to focus on her recovery rather than worry about finances.

Donate a Meal. Warm a Heart. Support a Family.

A home-cooked meal can mean so much more than just sustenance for families with sick children, especially those facing serious or long-term illnesses.

That’s not a hotel; that’s a home.

Despite the distance from home and unfamiliarity with Sydney, Bianca and her family found a home in Ronald McDonald House Westmead.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. With your help, we can support them throughout their journey.

Acknowledgement of Country

In the spirit of reconciliation, RMHC GWS respectfully acknowledges that we are situated on the traditional lands of the Burramattagal people of the Dharug Nation. We honour their enduring connection to this land, its communities, and the surrounding waterways. We recognise and respect the diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples within the families we support, as well as our employees, volunteers, and supporters. We extend our deepest respects to their Cultures and to Elders past and present.

We affirm that the land we stand on has always been, and will always remain, Aboriginal land.
